Peugeot engines (PSA)

PeugeotGroupe PSA (Peugeot Société Anonyme) is a French automotive company, the second largest car manufacturer in Europe. The headquarters is in Rueil-Malmaison, Ile-de-France, France. Owner of brands such as Citroën, Peugeot, Opel, Vauxhall and DS Automobiles. On January 16, 2021, it merged with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V (FCA), forming the Stellantis Corporation with an annual production of about 8.7 million vehicles under 14 brands.

The combination of the first two or three letters serves as the name of a particular family of aggregates.

Engine Peugeot EP6FADTXD

The 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FADTXD or 5GF engine was produced in Duvrin from 2018 to 2022 and was installed on models such as 508, DS4, DS7, C5 Aircross in combination with an 8-speed ATN8 automatic transmission. There was a separate modification of this motor for the E-Tense hybrid power plant.

Engine Peugeot EP6FADTX

The 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FADTX engine was produced at the Duvrin plant from 2017 to 2022 and was installed on models such as 308, 508, DS7, DS9 in combination with an 8-speed ATN8 automatic transmission. There were two different versions of such a unit: 5GC for DS cars and 5GG for Peugeot.

Engine Peugeot EP6FDTR

The 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FDTR or 5GP engine was produced in France from 2015 to 2018 and was installed on 308 1.6 THP 270 GTi hatchbacks in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission BVM6. After the transition to more stringent environmental standards Euro 6d, this motor received a different index EP6FADTR.

Engine Peugeot EP6FADTR

The 1.6-liter Peugeot EP6FADTR or EGX engine was produced in Duvrin from 2018 to 2020 and was installed on the 308 GTi version under the PureTech 263 index in combination with a 6-speed manual transmission. This power unit is essentially a slightly updated modification of the EP6FDTR motor.

Engine Peugeot XU7JB

The 1.8-liter 8-valve Peugeot XU7JB or LFX engine was produced from 1995 to 2001 and was installed on many well-known models of the concern: Peugeot 406, Partner, Citroen Xsara and Xantia. This power unit, in fact, was only a slightly deformed version of the XU7JP motor.

Engine Peugeot EB0

The Peugeot EB0 or ZMZ 1.0-liter 3-cylinder engine was produced from 2012 to 2017 and was installed in base versions of the 208 and the similar second-generation Citroen C3. The modification of such a power unit to more stringent Euro 6 environmental standards has the EB0F index.

Engine Peugeot EB2

The 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Peugeot EB2 or HMX engine has been produced since 2012 and is installed on models with the PureTech 82 index, but now it is gradually being replaced by the EB2F engine. This power unit has several modifications, such as EB2D, EB2FA, EB2FD or EB2FAD.

Engine Peugeot EB2M

The 1.2-liter Peugeot EB2M or HMY petrol engine has been assembled by the company since 2012 and is installed on budget models, such as the 301 and the similar Citroen C-Elysee 1.2 VTi. This power unit is essentially a simplified version of the EB2 motor without a phase regulator.

Engine Peugeot EB2DT

The 1.2-liter Peugeot EB2DT or HNZ turbo engine has been produced by the concern since 2014 and is installed on models with the PureTech 110 index, but now it is gradually being replaced by the EB2ADTD engine. There are a number of modifications to such a power unit, such as EB2ADT or EB2DTM.

The Peugeot EP6FDTM or 5GY 1.6-liter turbo engine has been produced in Duvrin since 2014 and is installed on many popular concern models, such as the 3008 and 5008 crossovers. Some markets offer a 150-horsepower version of this engine with the 5GX or EP6FDTMD index.

Engine Peugeot ES9J4

The 1.4-liter Peugeot ET3J4 or KFU engine was produced from 2004 to 2010 in France and was installed on a number of popular compact models of the concern such as 206, 207 or 307. The power unit is essentially only a 16-valve modification of the famous TU3JP engine.

The 1.6-liter Peugeot EC5 or NFP engine has been produced in Brazil and China since 2010 and is installed on such popular budget models of the concern as the C-Elysee, 301 or 408. This engine is essentially a modernization of the TU5JP4 unit and has a Flexible-fuel version of the EC5F.

Engine Peugeot EW7J4

The 1.8-liter Peugeot EW7J4 or 6FZ engine was produced from 2000 to 2008 in France and was installed on a number of popular mid-size models of the concern, such as 406 and 407. Around 2006, this power unit began to be replaced by an updated EW7A engine.

Engine Peugeot EW10D

The 2.0-liter Peugeot EW10D or RLZ engine was produced by the company only from 2001 to 2004 and was installed only on two well-known models of the French concern: Peugeot 406 and Citroen C5. This motor became famous for its capricious fuel system and was quickly discontinued.

Engine Peugeot TU3K

1.4-liter Peugeot TU3K or K1G engine is the ancestor of the extensive TU range. They collected it from 1986 to 1992 and put it on such popular company models as 205, 405. This power unit in a number of sources carries the TU3A index, which introduces some confusion.
