Engine Peugeot DV6FCTED

The 1.6-liter Peugeot DV6FCTED or DV6FC diesel engine was introduced in 2014 and is now installed on the vast majority of modern models of the French concern. The modification of this motor in the version for commercial vehicles has been derated to 115 hp.

Disadvantages of the DV6FCTED engine

  • There are no intelligible failure statistics for this diesel engine yet;
  • Piezo injectors of modern fuel equipment do not tolerate bad diesel fuel;
  • BlueHDi aftertreatment system will require specific maintenance.
