Jaguar engines

JaguarJaguar is a brand of automobile manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover. The headquarters is located in the West Midlands suburb of Coventry. Jaguar was founded in 1922, initially as the Swallow Sidecar Company, and produced sidecars. Since 2008, owned by the Indian Tata Motors. The Jaguar Land Rover Group owns three plants in the UK and one in India.

Engine Jaguar AJ28

The Jaguar AJ28 4.0-liter V8 petrol engine was produced by the company from 1999 to 2002 and installed only on advanced modifications of the S-Type sedan before its first restyling. This motor was a variation of the AJ26 unit, which was installed on the XK sports model.

The Jaguar AJ33 4.2-litre V8 petrol engine was built by Jaguar from 2002 to 2009 and was used in models such as the XK8 and XJ8, as well as the S-Type, but there it was most often called the AJ36. In addition to the 4.2-liter engine, a 3.5-liter power unit was offered under this index.
