Engine Peugeot DW10FCTED4

The 2.0-liter Peugeot DW10FCTED4 or DW10FC diesel engine has been produced since 2014 and is installed on many of the group’s popular mid-size models, such as 3008, 5008 and Traveler. There is a modification of the DW10FPTED4 engine with a twin turbocharger of 210 hp and 450 Nm.

The DW10 line includes: DW10TD, DW10ATED, DW10ATED4, DW10BTED4, DW10CTED4, DW10DTED4, DW10FCTED4, DW10FDTED4.

Disadvantages of the DW10FCTED4 engine

  • So far, these diesel engines have not been marked with any characteristic malfunctions;
  • Common Rail Delphi piezo injectors do not tolerate fuel of questionable quality;
  • BlueHDi gas treatment system requires periodic charging.
