Engine Ford YTMA

The 2.5-liter Ford YTMA or 2.5 Duratec HE i4 engine has been produced by the company since 2012 and is installed only on the front-wheel drive modification of the popular Kuga crossover. This power unit is an almost complete copy of the Japanese Mazda MZR L5-VE engine.

Engine Ford SEBA

The 2.3-liter Ford SEBA or 2.3 Duratec HE MI4 engine was produced only from 2007 to 2015 and was installed on the fourth generation of the rather popular Mondeo model. This power unit essentially did not differ from the well-known Mazda engine with the L3‑VE index.

Engine Ford SEWA

The 2.3-liter Ford SEWA or 2.3 Duratec HE engine was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed on two very popular Galaxy and S-MAX minivans in the automotive market. This power unit is essentially a clone of the famous Japanese Mazda MZR L3-VE engine.

Engine Ford XQDA

The 2.0-liter Ford XQDA or 2.0 Duratec SCi TI-VCT engine has been produced only since 2010 and is installed on the third generation Focus for the North American and Russian markets. Despite the presence of a direct injection system, the engine normally digests not very high-quality fuel.

Engine Ford CJBA/CJBB

The 2.0-liter Ford CJBA / CJBB or 2.0 Duratec HE engine was built from 2000 to 2007 and was installed in the third generation of the very popular Mondeo model. This motor is essentially just a variation of the Mazda MZR LF-DE power unit.

Engine Ford AOWA

2.0 liter Ford AOWA engine or 2.0 Duratec HE 145 hp was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed on the second generation of the popular Galaxy minivan and the similar S-MAX. This power unit essentially did not differ from the well-known Mazda LF-DE engine.

Engine Ford AODA

The 2.0-liter Ford AODA or 2.0 Duratec HE gasoline engine was assembled from 2003 to 2011 and installed on the second generation of the well-known Focus model and the similar C-MAX compact MPV. There was a modification of such a power unit with the AODB index for other environmental standards.

The 1.8-liter Ford QQDB / QQDA or 1.8 Duratec HE engine was assembled from 2003 to 2011 and was installed on the second generation of the Focus model or the C-Max compact MPV, created on its basis. This power unit is essentially a clone of the famous Japanese Mazda MZR L8-DE engine.

Engine Ford CHBA/CHBB

The 1.8-liter Ford CHBA / CHBB or 1.8L Duratec HE engine was produced from 2000 to 2007 and was installed on the third generation of the popular Mondeo model in all its bodies. This motor was developed by Mazda and is a type of engine with the L8-DE index.

Engine Ford CFBA

The 1.8-liter Ford CFBA or 1.8 Duratec SCi engine was produced only from 2003 to 2007 and was installed only on the third generation of the European version of the Mondeo after the first restyling. This power unit has earned a negative reputation due to the capricious fuel system.

Engine Ford FYJA

The 1.6-liter Ford FYJA or Fusion 1.6 Duratec engine was produced from 2001 to 2012 and was installed on the fifth generation of the Fiesta model and the Fusion compact MPV, created on its basis. There was a modification of this motor for Euro 3 environmental standards with its own FYJB index.

Engine Ford HWDA

The 1.6 liter Ford HWDA or 1.6 Duratec Sigma engine was assembled in Wales from 2003 to 2008 and fitted to the second generation Focus, C-MAX and Volvo as the B4164S3. This unit was distinguished from a similar engine under the SHDA index by a closed cooling jacket.

Engine Ford SHDA/SHDB

The 1.6-liter Ford SHDA, SHDB or Focus 2 1.6 Duratec engine was assembled from 2007 to 2011 and was installed on the second generation Focus, C-Max and Volvo under the B4164S3 index. This motor was essentially a modification of the HWDA engine, but with an open cooling jacket.

Engine Ford ASDA

The 1.4-liter Ford ASDA or Focus 2 1.4 Duratec engine was produced from 2004 to 2010 and was installed only on the base modifications of the second generation of the popular Focus model. A simplified version of this motor was offered for Euro 3 environmental standards with its own ASDB index.

Engine Subaru EE20

The 2.0-liter Subaru EE20Z diesel engine (or EE20 for short) has been assembled at the concern’s factories since 2008 and is installed on the European versions of many of the company’s models, primarily the Forester and Outback. This motor exists in three modifications for environmentally friendly EURO 4, 5 or 6 standards, respectively.

Engine Subaru FB25

The 2.5-liter Subaru FB25B gasoline engine has been assembled at the company’s plant since 2010 and is installed on mid-size models of the concern, such as Legacy and Forester. The unit was upgraded in 2018 and changed from multipoint fuel injection to direct.

Engine Subaru FB20

The FB20 engine has an AVCS variable valve timing system on the intake and outlet camshafts. The timing chain uses a maintenance-free chain. The engine is characterized by the installation of a plastic intake manifold with TGV flaps at the intake to improve environmental performance.

The 1.6-liter Subaru FB16B gasoline engine has been produced at the Japanese plant since 2011 and is installed on such popular company models as the Impreza and the crossover XV based on it. This power unit is the smallest and least powerful in its family of motors.

The 2.0-liter Chevrolet Z20S1 or Z20DM or LMN engine was produced from 2006 to 2011 and was installed on such popular concern models as the Lacetti or Captiva. This diesel engine was developed by the Italian company VM Motori and has its own index RA 420 SOHC 16V.

Engine Chevrolet Z20S

The 2.0-liter Chevrolet Z20S or Z20DMH or LLW engine was produced from 2006 to 2011 and was installed on many popular models of the company, such as Captiva, Epica or Cruze. This power unit is essentially a VM Motori RA 420 SOHC 16V diesel engine.

Engine Chevrolet X25D1

The 2.5-liter Chevrolet X25D1 or LF4 engine was produced from 2000 to 2014 at a Korean plant and was installed on relatively large concern models such as Epica and Evanda. The XK-6 range of 6-cylinder units was developed jointly by Daewoo and Porsche.

Engine Chevrolet X20D1

The 2.0-liter Chevrolet X20D1 or LF3 engine was produced from 2006 to 2014 in Korea and was installed on a number of large models of the concern, but is best known for Epica sedans. This 6-cylinder unit was developed by Daewoo with the participation of Porsche engineers.

Engine Chevrolet F18D4

The 1.8-liter Chevrolet F18D4 or 2H0 engine was produced by the company from 2008 to 2016 and was installed only on the rather popular Cruze model. The power unit is inherently no different from the well-known Opel Z18XER engine.

The 1.8-liter Chevrolet F18D3 or LDA engine appeared in 2006 and replaced the T18SED. This motor is not related to the F14D3 and F16D3, but is essentially a copy of the Opel Z18XE. This power plant is known on the market only for Lacetti models.

The 1.6-liter Chevrolet F16D4 or LDE engine was assembled in South Korea from 2008 to 2020 and put on the two most popular models of the Asian division of the concern: Aveo and Cruze. This power unit is almost a complete analogue of the famous Opel Z16XER engine.

Engine Chevrolet F16D3

The 1.6-liter Chevrolet F16D3 or LXT engine was assembled in South Korea from 2004 to 2013 and installed on a number of mass models of the concern, such as Aveo, Lacetti and Cruze. This power unit was essentially an upgraded version of the Daewoo A16DMS engine.

Engine Chevrolet F15S3

The 1.5-liter Chevrolet F15S3 engine was assembled at the concern’s enterprises from 2002 to 2011 and installed on such popular models of the Korean division of GM as Aveo and Lanos. This unit is essentially a Daewoo A15SMS engine under the hood of Chevrolet cars.

The F14D4 engine was put into production in 2008. In fact, it was a modernized version of the F14D3 engine, which did not save him from having technical problems. Typical for the predecessor problems in the new engine were successfully eliminated.

The 1.4-liter Chevrolet F14D3 or L95 engine was produced in South Korea from 2002 to 2008 and was installed on the most popular models of the GM Korea division, such as Aveo and Lacetti. This power unit shares a number of common parts with the well-known Opel Z14XE.

The 1.5-liter Chevrolet B15D2 or L2C engine has been produced at the Korean plant since 2012 and is installed on a number of budget models of the company, such as Cobalt and Spin. He is also known to many car owners for the Daewoo Gentra sedan.

Engine Chevrolet B12D1

The 1.2-liter Chevrolet B12D1 or LMU engine was produced by the company from 2007 to 2015 and was installed on the group’s most popular budget models, such as Aveo and Spark. A gas modification of the engine was proposed, as well as an LMH version with a reduced compression ratio.

Engine Chevrolet B12S1

The 1.2-liter Chevrolet B12S1 or LY4 engine was produced in South Korea from 2002 to 2011 and was installed on many popular budget models of the concern, such as Aveo and Kalos. This power unit in a number of sources appears under a completely different index F12S3.

Engine Chevrolet B10D1

The 1.0-liter Chevrolet B10D1 or LMT engine has been produced by the Korean branch of GM since 2009 and installs this engine in its most compact models, such as the Spark or Matiz. This power unit has a modification that runs on liquefied gas in a number of markets.

The 1.0-liter Chevrolet B10S1 or LA2 engine was produced from 2002 to 2009 in South Korea and was installed on the smallest models of the company, such as Spark or Matiz. The version of the power unit before 2004 is seriously different and is often referred to simply as the B10S.

Engine Nissan ZD30

The 3.0-liter Nissan ZD30DD diesel engine was produced from 1999 to 2012 in Japan and was installed on an extensive family of Caravan minivans, including Homi and Elgrand modifications.

Engine Nissan YD25

The 2.5-liter diesel engine Nissan YD25DDTi or YD25 has been produced since 1998 and is installed on the most popular minibuses, pickups and SUVs of the company. This motor replaced the CD20 and TD25 on some cars. The cylinder block here is an in-line 4-cylinder, cast iron, with a cylinder diameter of 89 mm.

The 2.2-liter Nissan YD22DDTi diesel engine (or YD22 for short) was produced from 2001 to 2007 and was installed on several popular concern models such as Almera Tino, Primera and X-Trail. In addition to the Common Rail version, there was also a YD22ETi modification with a VP44 electronic high pressure fuel pump.

The 2.8-liter Nissan RD28ETi diesel engine was produced by the company from 1997 to 1999 and was installed on the popular Patrol SUV in the back of the Y61 and its Japanese counterpart Safari. This power unit existed in a modification with a mechanical high pressure fuel pump under the index RD28Ti.

The 2.8-liter Nissan RD28T diesel engine was produced from 1987 to 1998 in Japan and was installed on the most popular full-size SUVs of the Patrol and Safari companies. This unit existed in a version with an electronically controlled high pressure fuel pump under the symbol RD28ET.
