Descriptions and technical characteristics of engines for the most popular car models.

Engine Alfa Romeo AR32104

The 1.6-liter Alfa Romeo AR32104 or 156 1.6 TS engine was produced from 2000 to 2010 and was installed on the two most popular concern models of its time under the indices 147 and 156. This engine did not have a VLIM intake geometry change system like the larger engines of the series.

Engine Alfa Romeo AR32201

The 1.8-liter Alfa Romeo AR32201 or 1.8 Twin Spark engine was assembled from 1997 to 2001 and installed on such well-known concern models as 145, 146, 156, GTV and the similar Spider. After updating to more modern Euro 3 environmental standards, the motor changed its index to AR32205.

Engine Alfa Romeo AR32301

The 2.0 liter Alfa Romeo AR32301 or 156 2.0 TS engine was produced from 1998 to 2001 and fitted to a range of popular models such as the 145, 146, 156, GTV, and Spider. This power unit, after being upgraded to Euro 3 environmental standards, turned into the AR32310 motor.

Engine Alfa Romeo AR32310

The 2.0-liter Alfa Romeo AR32310 or 2.0 Twin Spark engine was assembled from 2000 to 2010 and installed on the company’s popular models with an index of 147, 156, GTV and the similar Spider. This power unit was essentially a Euro 3 modification of the well-known AR32301 motor.

Engine Alfa Romeo 839A6000

The 2.4-liter Alfa Romeo 839A6000 or Alfa Romeo 166 2.4 JTD engine was produced from 2000 to 2002 and was installed on popular concern models with indexes 156 and 166, as well as Lancia Lybra. This unit is equipped with a 10-valve SOHC cylinder head without hydraulic lifters.

Engine Alfa Romeo 937A5000

The 1.9-liter Alfa Romeo 937A5000 or Alfa Romeo 156 1.9 JTD engine was produced from 2003 to 2010 and was installed on many popular concern models, such as Alfa Romeo 147, 156 and GT. Also, this diesel unit can be found under the hood of the second generation Fiat Stilo or Bravo.

Engine Fiat 187A1000

The 1.1-liter 8-valve Fiat 187A1000 engine was produced by the concern from 2000 to 2012 and was installed on the first and second generations of the popular Panda models, as well as the Palio and Seicento. This unit, in fact, was a modernization of the well-known 176B2000 motor with single injection.

Engine Fiat 169A4000

The 1.2-liter 8-valve Fiat 169A4000 engine has been assembled at the plant in Italy since 2007 and is installed on such well-known models of the concern as Panda, Punto, 500 and Lancia Ypsilon. This power unit was installed on the second generation Ford Ka under the index FP4 or Duratec 8V.

Engine Fiat 176A8000

The 1.2-liter 8-valve Fiat 176A8000 engine was produced by the company from 1993 to 2004 and was installed only on two, but very popular Punto models, as well as the first generation Palio. Such a power unit at one time was quite widespread in some markets.

Engine Fiat 188A4000

The 1.2-liter 8-valve Fiat 188A4000 engine was produced in Italy from 1997 to 2012 and was installed on such popular concern models as the Palio, Panda, Punto, Uno and Strada pickup. Another such power unit was installed on Lancia Y cars and the first generation Ypsilon.

Engine Fiat 199A6000

The 1.4-liter 16-valve Fiat 199A6000 or StarJet engine was produced from 2005 to 2011 and was installed only on the Grande Punto until its second restyling and renaming Punto. This power unit was also found on the similar Alfa Romeo MiTo of the first years of production.

Engine Fiat 350A1000

The 1.4-liter 8-valve Fiat 350A1000 engine has been produced by the concern since 2005 and during this time has been under the hood of many models such as Albea, Punto, Linea and Fiorino. This unit was also installed on Lancia Musa, Ypsilon of the first generation and Alfa Romeo MiTo.

Engine Fiat 198A1000

The 1.4-liter turbo engine Fiat 198A1000 or 1.4 T-Jet was produced from 2007 to 2010 and was installed on models such as Bravo, Linea, Grande Punto, as well as Lancia Delta and Alfa Romeo MiTo. Unlike its less powerful counterpart, this motor quickly gave way to the MultiAir unit.

The 1.4-liter Fiat 955A2000 or MultiAir 1.4 Turbo engine was produced from 2009 to 2014 and was installed in the third and fourth generation Punto and the similar Alfa Romeo MiTo. In fact, such a power unit is a modernization of the engine of the 1.4 T‑Jet family.

Engine Fiat 310A5011

The 1.6-liter 16-valve Fiat 310A5011 engine has been produced in Brazil since 2011 and is installed on such popular models as 500X, Palio, Tipo, Punto, Siena and Strada pickup. This power unit on Dodge Neon and Jeep Renegade cars is known under the EJH index.

Engine Fiat 370A0011

The 1.8-liter Fiat 370A0011 or 1.8 E.torQ engine has been produced in Brazil since 2010 and is installed on such popular models in Latin America as the Argo, Toro, Linea and the Strada pickup. This power unit is also found under the hood of the Jeep Renegade crossover in a number of markets.

Engine Fiat 182A3000

The 1.4-liter 12-valve Fiat 182A3000 engine was assembled by the company from 1995 to 1999 and was installed on such concern models as the Brava, Bravo, Marea, and also on the Lancia Y as 840A2000. There was a derated version of the engine with the index 182A5000 and 840A4000, respectively.

Engine Fiat 182A2000

The 1.8-liter 16-valve Fiat 182A2000 engine was assembled by the company from 1995 to 2000 and installed on such well-known models of the Italian concern as Brava, Bravo, Marea. They offered a more powerful version of this motor with a VFD phase regulator and an index of 183A1000.

Engine Fiat 182A1000

The Fiat 182A1000 2.0-liter 5-cylinder engine was produced by the company from 1995 to 1999 and installed on such models as Bravo, Coupe and Marea, and also on Lancia Kappa as 838A1000. There was a more powerful version of this power unit under its index 182B7000.

Engine Fiat 192A2000

The 2.4-liter 5-cylinder Fiat 192A2000 engine was assembled in Italy from 2001 to 2007 and installed in charged versions of the Stilo such as Abarth or GT, as well as Lancia Lybra and Thesis. Until 2001, a similar engine was installed on Lancia Kappa cars under the symbol 838A2000.

Engine Fiat 182A4000

The 1.6-liter Fiat 182A4000 or Bravo 1.6 16v engine was produced from 1996 to 2001 and was installed on a number of popular models of the company, such as Marea, Multipla and Lancia Dedra. This power unit is essentially a 16-valve version of the famous Fiat 128 SOHC engine.

The 1.6-liter Fiat 182B6000 or Stilo 1.6 16v engine was assembled by the company from 2000 to 2012 and was installed on such popular models as Doblo, Marea, Multipla, Palio, Strada or Lancia Lybra. Such a power unit is essentially an updated version of the motor under the symbol 182A4000.

The 0.9-liter 8-valve Fiat TwinAir 199B6000 engine has been produced by the company since 2012 and is installed on many popular models of the Italian concern, such as 500, 500L and Punto. This unit can also be found under the hood of the basic modification of the Alfa Romeo MiTo hatchback.

Engine Fiat 198A2000

The 1.6-liter diesel engine Fiat 198A2000 or 1.6 JTD was produced from 2008 to 2015 and was installed on the Bravo model, popular in Europe, and the third generation Lancia Delta. This power unit can also be found under the hood of the Alfa Romeo MiTo compact hatchback.

The 1.6-litre diesel engine Fiat 198A3000 or 1.6 Multijet was assembled from 2008 to 2018 and installed on such popular models as Bravo, Linea and commercial Doblo. Also, this unit was installed on a similar Opel Combo D under the index A16FDH or 1.6 CDTI.

It is important to distinguish this engine from the 2.0 HDi diesel clones that were installed on the second generation Ducato.

Engine Fiat 263A1000

The 2.0 liter diesel engine Fiat 263A1000 or Doblo 2.0 JTD has been produced since 2009 and is installed in the second generation of the commercial Doblo model and the similar Opel Combo. Such a power unit was installed on the Suzuki SX4 and its clone Fiat Sedici under its D20AA index.

Engine Geely JLC-4G15

The 1.5-liter Geely JLC-4G15 or 1.5 DVVT engine has been produced by the concern only since 2016 and is installed only on the second generation of the Emgrand 7 sedan or similar models. There is an updated version of this motor with 114 hp under its own index JLC-4G15B.

Engine Geely JLY-4G15

The 1.5-liter Geely JLY-4G15 or JL4G15D engine has been produced in China since 2009 and is installed on Emgrand 7 or Emgrand EC7 sedans, which are quite popular in some markets. This power unit is based on the very famous Toyota ZZ-series gasoline engines.

Engine Geely JLC-4G18

The 1.8-liter Geely JLC-4G18 or 1.8 DVVT engine has been produced in China only since 2016 and so far is installed only on the second generation of the Emgrand X7 crossover, as well as the GS hatchback. This power unit is a modification of the JLY-4G18 motor already with two phase regulators.

Engine Geely JLY-4G18

The 1.8-liter 16-valve Geely JLY-4G18 or JL4G18-D engine has been produced since 2007 and is installed on many models of the concern, but is better known for the Emgrand EC7 sedan and X7 crossover. This power unit is essentially a clone of the famous Japanese Toyota 1ZZ-FE engine.

Engine Geely JLD-4G20

The 2.0-liter Geely JLD-4G20 engine has been assembled at the Chinese plant of the concern since 2010 and is installed on the very popular Atlas and Emgrand X7 crossovers. Such a power unit is essentially a clone of the well-known Toyota 1AZ-FE gasoline engine.

Engine Geely JLD-4G24

The 2.4-liter Geely JLD-4G24 gasoline engine has been assembled at a factory in China since 2010 and is installed on almost all major models of the concern, such as the Atlas crossover and Emgrand X7. This power unit is essentially a clone of the famous Japanese Toyota 2AZ-FE engine.

Engine Geely JLE-4G18TD

The 1.8-liter Geely JLE-4G18TD engine was produced at the Chinese plant from 2015 to 2019 and was installed on the pre-styling version of the Borui sedan, which was delivered to some markets as the Emgrand GT. This turbo unit is of our own design, but in design it is similar to the VW EA888 engine.

Engine Geely JLE-4G18TDB

The 1.8-liter Geely JLE-4G18TDB or 1.8 TGDi engine has been produced by the concern since 2017 and is installed on the Atlas crossover, popular in some markets, and the large Emgrand GT sedan. This turbo engine is considered an in-house developed unit and is very similar to the VW EA888 engine.

Engine Geely JLH-3G15TD

The 1.5-liter 3-cylinder Geely JLH-3G15TD engine has been produced in China since 2018 and is installed on the popular Atlas and Coolray crossovers, as well as their modifications under the Proton brand. This power unit is essentially a clone of the B3154T turbo engine known from the Volvo XC40.

Engine Geely JLH-4G20TDB

The 2.0-liter 4-cylinder Geely JLH-4G20TDB engine has been produced in China since 2019 and is installed only in the Tugella crossover, which is sold locally as Xingyue. This power unit was essentially a clone of the B4204T23 turbo engine known from the Volvo XC60.

Engine Geely MR479Q

The 1.3-liter 4-cylinder Geely MR479Q engine was produced in China from 1998 to 2016 and installed in many local models, but it is known abroad only for the LC Cross hatchback. This unit is a clone of the Toyota 8A-FE engine and was installed on Lifan under the index LF479Q3.

Engine Geely MR479QA

The 1.5-liter Geely MR479QA gasoline engine was produced in China from 2000 to 2016 and installed on a number of local models, and abroad it is known only by MK and MK Cross. This motor was a clone of the Toyota 5A-FE unit and was installed on the Lifan under the index LF479Q2.

Engine Daewoo F8CV

The 0.8-liter Daewoo F8CV engine was produced at the company’s factories from 1991 to 2018 and was installed on many budget cars, but is best known as the main Daewoo Matiz engine. This power unit was based on the Suzuki F8B and is known as the A08S3 on Chevrolet models.

Engine Daewoo F10CV

The 1.0-liter Daewoo F10CV or LA2 engine was produced at the concern’s factories from 2002 to 2016 and was installed only on the most compact model of the Korean company Matiz mini hatchback. Exactly the same motor, but with a different firmware, was installed on the Chevrolet Spark under the B10S1 index.

Engine Daewoo G15MF

The 1.5-liter 8-valve Daewoo G15MF engine was produced by the concern from 1994 to 2008 and was installed on the most massive Nexia model and for some time on Espero. This power unit has become widespread in some automotive markets.

Engine Daewoo A15MF

The 1.5-liter 16-valve Daewoo A15MF engine was produced by the company from 1994 to 2008 and was installed on a number of popular models of the Korean concern, such as Nexia and Espero. The power unit officially appeared in some automotive markets only after 2002.

Engine Daewoo A15SMS

The 1.5-liter 8-valve Daewoo A15SMS engine was produced by the company from 1997 to 2016 and was installed on the popular Lanos, Nexia, and Chevrolet Aveo models under the F15S3 index. This power unit is essentially a modernized version of the famous G15MF motor.

Engine Daewoo A16DMS

The 1.6-liter 16-valve Daewoo A16DMS engine was produced by the company from 1997 to 2002 and was installed on several fairly popular models, such as Lanos, Tacuma, Nubira. This power unit, after modernization in 2002, received a completely different index F16D3.

Engine Daewoo T18SED

The 1.8-liter 16-valve Daewoo T18SED engine was assembled from 2002 to 2007 in South Korea and was installed only on a couple of platform models: Lacetti and Nubira in J200 bodies. This motor was a clone of the Opel X18XE power unit and gave way to the newer F18D3.

Engine Daewoo X20SED

The 2.0-liter 16-valve Daewoo X20SED engine was produced by the concern from 1997 to 2008 and was installed on most of the concern’s models of its time, such as Leganza, Nubira and Lacetti. This power unit is essentially an upgraded version of the Opel X20XEV engine.

Engine Daewoo T22SED

The 2.2-liter 16-valve Daewoo T22SED engine was assembled from 1997 to 2002 for the US market and was installed only on the American modification of the rather popular Leganza model. This power unit is inherently a variation of the well-known Opel X22XE engine.

Engine GM LSY

The 2.0-liter GM LSY turbo engine appeared in the American concern’s lineup in 2018 and is installed on models such as the Buick Regal, GMC Acadia, Cadillac XT6, Chevrolet Equinox and Malibu. The power unit is distinguished by the presence of an Active Fuel Management cylinder deactivation system.

Engine GM LTG

The 2.0-liter GM LTG turbo engine has been produced by the American concern since 2012 and is installed on models such as the Buick Regal, GMC Terrain, Cadillac ATS, Chevrolet Malibu and Equinox. In some markets, this engine is known by the restyled Opel Insignia under the A20NFT index.

Engine GM LUV

The GM LUV 1.4-liter turbo engine was produced at the concern’s enterprise from 2010 to 2020 and was installed on American versions of such models as the Chevrolet Sonic, Cruze, Trax and Buick Encore. This power unit is essentially a modification of the LUJ motor with a different block configuration.

Engine GM LF1

The General Motors LF1 3.0-liter V6 engine was assembled in the United States and Mexico from 2009 to 2016 and was installed on such popular models as the Cadillac SRX, as well as the Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain. Such a power unit on Opel cars is known under its own index A30XH.

Engine GM LFX

The 3.6-liter V6 engine of General Motors LFX was produced in the USA from 2011 to 2020 and was installed on such well-known models as the Chevrolet Camaro, Impala, Colorado, Equinox. It was distinguished from its predecessor LLT by new cylinder heads with an integrated exhaust manifold.

Engine GM LGX

The General Motors LGX 3.6-liter V6 engine has been produced at the Michigan plant since 2015 and is installed on such popular models as the Cadillac XT5, XT6, CT6, and the Chevrolet Camaro. The modification of this unit for Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickups has the LGZ index.

Engine GM LLT

The 3.6-liter V6 General Motors LLT engine was produced in the US and Canada from 2007 to 2017 and was installed on the Cadillac CTS, STS, as well as Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia crossovers. This power unit is essentially a modification of the LY7 engine with direct fuel injection.

Engine GM LY7

The 3.6-liter V6 General Motors LY7 engine was assembled at the concern’s factory from 2003 to 2012 and was installed on the Cadillac STS, GMC Acadia, Chevrolet Malibu or Suzuki XL-7 under the N36A index. On the Holden model, a simplified modification of the LE0 was installed with phase regulators only at the intake.

Engine GM LE2

The 1.4-liter GM LE2 turbo engine has been assembled at the concern’s Hungarian plant since 2016 and is installed on such popular company models as the Buick Encore, Chevrolet Cruze and Trax. On Opel cars, such a power unit is known under its index B14XFT or D14XFT.
