Disadvantages of the Alfa Romeo AR32310 engine
- The unit is characterized by rapid wear of the cylinder walls and subsequent oil burn;
- Due to the wedging of the hydraulic lifters, the camshaft cams are quickly erased;
- Many problems are caused by sensor failures, especially the mass air flow sensor and crankshaft position sensor;
- Monitor the condition of the balancer belt, if it breaks, it falls under the timing belt;
- The weak points of the engine include the oil pump, the phase regulator and the VLIM system in the intake.
