Disadvantages of the Fiat 182B6000 engine

  • This motor is very reliable and only a capricious electrician delivers problems here;
  • Sensor failures and failures of the Magneti-Marelli control unit are the most common concerns;
  • Another weak point of the engine is the electronic throttle;
  • It is quite difficult to set the timing belt correctly here, since there are no marks;
  • Also, slipping of valve stem seals and suction in the intake are often encountered.
