Opel Zafira

Opel Zafira is a compact van from the American manufacturer General Motors. Produced since 1999. The third generation of the model has been produced since 2011 and is called the Zafira Tourer. Assembly shops for the production of the model are located in Germany, Brazil, Thailand, Indonesia, Poland and Russia. The 3rd generation car also has hybrid versions powered by an electric motor and equipped with gas equipment. In 2016, the car underwent restyling, bringing it closer to the model Opel Astra K.

Engine Opel Z16XEP

The 1.6-liter Opel Z16XEP or LJ7 engine was produced from 2002 to 2009 in Hungary and was installed on most of the concern’s models of its time, such as Astra, Vectra and Zafira. This power unit had a modified version under its own index Z16XE1.

Engine Opel Z16XER

The 1.6-liter Opel Z16XER or LDE engine was assembled at different factories from 2006 to 2010 and installed on many popular concern models, such as Astra, Zafira and Insignia. This power unit was also installed on Chevrolet cars under its F16D4 index.

The 2.0-liter turbo engine Opel Z20LET or L70 was produced from 2000 to 2005 in Germany and was installed on the Speedster sports car and OPC versions of such popular models as Astra, Zafira. After the 2005 update, the motor was divided into three modifications: Z20LEL, Z20LER and Z20LEH.

The 2.2-liter Opel Z22SE or L61 engine was produced from 2000 to 2005 in Germany and the USA and was installed on many mid-size models of the concern, such as the Astra, Vectra or Zafira. The motor received an atypical design for the concern with an aluminum block and a timing chain.

Engine Opel Z22YH

The 2.2-liter Opel Z22YH engine was assembled from 2003 to 2010 at a plant in Germany and installed on a number of popular models of the company, such as Vectra, Zafira or Signum. The same unit, but in a modification with phase regulators, was installed on Alfa Romeo as 2.2 JTS.

The 1.7-liter diesel engine Opel A17DTJ or LPV was produced from 2009 to 2011 at the Polish plant of the concern and was installed on a number of mass models, such as Astra, Zafira. This unit from 2007 to 2009 was produced in EURO 4 modifications under a different index Z17DTJ.

The 1.7-liter diesel engine Opel A17DTR or LPL was produced from 2009 to 2012 at the concern’s enterprise in Poland and was installed on such popular models as Zafira, Astra. This power unit was produced from 2006 to 2010 in the EURO 4 version under the symbol Z17DTR.

The 1.9-liter diesel engine Opel Z19DT or 1.9 CDTi was produced from 2004 to 2010 and was installed on such popular models of the German concern as Astra, Vectra or Zafira. This 8-valve engine was created by Fiat and was installed on Saab under its D207E index.

Engine Opel Z19DTH

The 1.9-liter Opel Z19DTH or LRD diesel engine was produced from 2004 to 2010 at an enterprise in Germany and was installed on such concern models as Astra, Vectra and Zafira. This 16-valve engine was created by Fiat and was installed on Saab as the D207L.
