Opel Corsa

The Opel Corsa is a German supermini car from General Motors. Produced since 1982. In the UK, the model is called Vauxhall, and in South America and Asia – Chevrolet. The car is consistently among the ten best-selling in the European market. Since 2014, the production of the 5th generation of the model has begun at Spanish and German factories. The car was assembled in Germany, Spain, Mexico, Brazil and some other countries.

Engine Opel X12XE

The 1.2-liter Opel X12XE or LW4 engine was assembled at a plant in Austria from 1998 to 2000 and installed on basic modifications of such popular models as Astra G or Corsa B. The unit belonged to the GM Family 0 engine series and, during the transition to Euro 4, changed the index to Z12XE.

Engine Peugeot EB2DTS

The 1.2-liter Peugeot EB2DTS or HNY turbo engine has been produced by the company since 2014 and is installed on all compact and medium-sized models of the concern under the PureTech 130 indices. There are a number of modifications to this power unit: EB2DTSD, EB2DTSM and EB2ADTS.

Engine Peugeot DV5RD

The 1.5-liter Peugeot DV5RD or YHY or 1.5 BlueHDi 100 engine has been produced since 2018 and is installed on such popular models of the French concern as 208, 308 and Traveler. Such a unit has become very widespread in the European automotive market.

Engine Opel A12XER

The 1.2-liter 16-valve Opel A12XER or LDC engine was produced from 2009 to 2014 and installed on the fourth generation Corsa and the similar Chevrolet Aveo in the back of the T300. There was a derated version of this motor up to 69 hp under the symbol A12XEL or LWD.

Engine Opel A14NET/NEL

1.4-liter Opel A14NET or LUJ engine has been assembled since 2009 at the Wien-Aspern plant and is installed in a number of popular models of the company, such as Astra, Meriva, Mokka and Zafira. Now such units are gradually being replaced by modern Euro 6 engines of the new B-series.

The 1.4-liter Opel A14XER or Ecotec LDD engine has been produced by the company since 2009 and is installed on such popular compact models of the concern as Corsa, Meriva, Adam. Now the units of this family are gradually being replaced by new Euro 6 B-series engines.

The 1.4-liter Opel C14NZ engine was produced from 1989 to 1996 at a German company and was installed on the most popular models of its time, such as Astra, Corsa, Kadett. This power unit replaced the well-known C13N engine on the conveyor, then gave way to the X14XE.

Engine Opel C16NZ

The 1.6-liter Opel C16NZ engine was produced from 1987 to 1993 at the plant in Bochum and was installed on a number of popular models of the concern, such as Astra, Corsa, Vectra and Kadett. This power unit quickly gave way to a more modern X16SZ engine.

Engine Opel X14XE

The 1.4-liter Opel X14XE engine was produced from 1994 to 2001 at the Hungarian plant and was installed on many popular compact models of the concern such as Corsa, Tigra, Astra. This power unit, after being upgraded to comply with EURO 4 environmental standards, received a different Z14XE index.

Engine Opel Z10XE

The 1.0-liter Opel Z10XE or LW3 engine was assembled from 2000 to 2003 at a plant in Austria and was installed only on the third generation of the popular Corsa model and the very first Agila. This power unit is part of an extensive family of low-volume GM family 0 engines.

Engine Opel Z10XEP

The 1.0-liter Opel Z10XEP or LJ4 engine was produced from 2003 to 2009 in Austria and was installed only on the third and fourth generations of the Corsa model or the very first Agila. The motor was distinguished by the presence of a proprietary system for changing the geometry of the Twinport intake tract.

Engine Opel Z12XE

The 1.2-liter Opel Z12XE or LW4 engine was assembled from 2000 to 2004 at a plant in Austria and installed only on the most popular models of the concern, such as Astra, Corsa and Agila. Until 2000, there was a Euro 2 version of this power unit under the X12XE index.

Engine Opel Z12XEP

The 1.2-liter Opel Z12XEP or LB4 engine was produced from 2004 to 2009 in Austria and was installed only on the third and fourth generations of the Corsa model and the very first Agila. After upgrading to Euro 5 environmental standards, this power unit received a new A12XER index.

Engine Opel Z14XE

The 1.4-liter Opel Z14XE or L95 engine was assembled from 2000 to 2004 at a factory in Hungary and was installed only on the company’s most popular compact models: Astra and Corsa. Until 2000, a EURO 2 modification of this unit was offered under the index X14XE.

The 1.4-liter Opel Z14XEP or LJ2 engine was produced in Austria from 2003 to 2010 and was installed on many compact models of the company, such as Astra, Corsa, Combo and Meriva. This unit is one of the most popular low-volume engines with the Twinport system.

The 1.6-liter Opel Z16SE or L55 engine was assembled from 2000 to 2004 at a plant in Hungary and installed on a number of popular models of its time, such as Astra, Corsa, Meriva. This unit, in fact, was only an upgraded version of the famous X16SZR motor.

The 1.8-liter Opel Z18XE or 2H9 engine was assembled at a plant in Hungary from 2000 to 2009 and installed on almost all popular mid-size models of the group of its time. This power unit was essentially a modernized version of the famous X18XE1 motor.

Engine Opel A13DTE

The 1.3-liter Opel A13DTE or LSF diesel engine was produced from 2009 to 2017 at a joint venture between General Motors and Fiat in the Polish town of Bielsko-Biala. This power unit is essentially an updated version of the famous Z13DTH diesel engine.

Engine Opel Y17DT

The 1.7-liter Opel Y17DT or LR6 diesel engine was produced from 2000 to 2005 and was installed on the group’s popular compact models such as Astra, Corsa and Meriva. This unit, in essence, was a modification of the famous Japanese diesel engine Isuzu 4EE2.

The 1.7-liter Opel Z17DTH or LPZ diesel engine was produced from 2003 to 2010 and was installed on a number of such popular concern models as Astra, Corsa, Combo and Meriva. This unit was equipped with fuel equipment manufactured by both Bosch and Denso.
