Chevrolet Aveo

Chevrolet Aveo is a small, subcompact car of the famous US automaker General Motors. The first car was released from the assembly line in 2002. Chevrolet Aveo is produced in three body modifications – sedan, and 3- and 5-door hatchback. The car is produced in two generations, with the latest version being manufactured at the Russian plant in Kaliningrad and GAZ. Only the T250 is currently being produced from the first generation machines.

Engine Opel A12XER

The 1.2-liter 16-valve Opel A12XER or LDC engine was produced from 2009 to 2014 and installed on the fourth generation Corsa and the similar Chevrolet Aveo in the back of the T300. There was a derated version of this motor up to 69 hp under the symbol A12XEL or LWD.

Engine Chevrolet F16D4

The 1.6-liter Chevrolet F16D4 or LDE engine was assembled in South Korea from 2008 to 2020 and put on the two most popular models of the Asian division of the concern: Aveo and Cruze. This power unit is almost a complete analogue of the famous Opel Z16XER engine.

Engine Chevrolet F16D3

The 1.6-liter Chevrolet F16D3 or LXT engine was assembled in South Korea from 2004 to 2013 and installed on a number of mass models of the concern, such as Aveo, Lacetti and Cruze. This power unit was essentially an upgraded version of the Daewoo A16DMS engine.

Engine Chevrolet F15S3

The 1.5-liter Chevrolet F15S3 engine was assembled at the concern’s enterprises from 2002 to 2011 and installed on such popular models of the Korean division of GM as Aveo and Lanos. This unit is essentially a Daewoo A15SMS engine under the hood of Chevrolet cars.

Engine Chevrolet F14D4

The F14D4 engine was put into production in 2008. In fact, it was a modernized version of the F14D3 engine, which did not save him from having technical problems. Typical for the predecessor problems in the new engine were successfully eliminated.

Engine Chevrolet F14D3

The 1.4-liter Chevrolet F14D3 or L95 engine was produced in South Korea from 2002 to 2008 and was installed on the most popular models of the GM Korea division, such as Aveo and Lacetti. This power unit shares a number of common parts with the well-known Opel Z14XE.

Engine Chevrolet B12D1

The 1.2-liter Chevrolet B12D1 or LMU engine was produced by the company from 2007 to 2015 and was installed on the group’s most popular budget models, such as Aveo and Spark. A gas modification of the engine was proposed, as well as an LMH version with a reduced compression ratio.

Engine Chevrolet B12S1

The 1.2-liter Chevrolet B12S1 or LY4 engine was produced in South Korea from 2002 to 2011 and was installed on many popular budget models of the concern, such as Aveo and Kalos. This power unit in a number of sources appears under a completely different index F12S3.
