Disadvantages of the A20DTH engine
- Power units until 2013 often wedged when driving at high speed;
- The reason for the wedge is oil starvation of the main liners, but the culprits are different;
- Also, owners are regularly worried about jamming of the intake manifold flaps;
- Antifreeze often oozes from the intake channel, and this is quite dangerous for the engine;
- Due to the drying of the sealing rings, a heat exchanger will usually leak by 50,000 km;
- Engine speed is most often floating due to contamination of the fuel pressure regulator;
- Typical problems with the particulate filter and the EGR valve are also present here.
