Toyota 4Runner
The Toyota 4Runner is a Japanese compact and mid-size SUV produced since 1984 by Toyota Motor Corporation. Since 2009, the 5th generation of the model has been produced. In the domestic Japanese market, the model was sold under the name Toyota Hilux Surf. Used Hilux Surf machines have been exported to Pakistan, Australia, UK and other countries. After 2005 in the Southeast Asian market, the model was replaced by Fortuner. The 4Runner has been supplied to the North American market since 2014.

The 3VZ-FE engine has been installed in Toyota vehicles since 1993. It is a 2-shaft overhead valve engine. The camshaft drive is from the chain. There are 2 intake and outlet valves per cylinder. The left camshaft in the direction of the vehicle controls the intake valves, and the right camshaft controls the outlet valves. All 3VZ engines are equipped with an electronic fuel injection system.
