Nissan Skyline

The Nissan Skyline is a Japanese vehicle manufactured by Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. since 1957. Until 1989, they produced cars of the compact class, then until 2002 – the sports compact class, and since 2003 – the middle class. In total, 13 generations of the model have been released. The latest generation version, factory-marked V37, is sold in the North American market, in Russia, as well as in Southeast Asia under the names Infiniti Q50 and Infiniti Q60. The name of the car is translated as “horizon”.

Engine Nissan RD28

The 2.8-liter Nissan RD28 diesel engine was produced by the concern from 1987 to 1999 and was installed on many popular Japanese sedans such as Cedric, Gloria and Laurel. A modification of the engine with an electronic high-pressure fuel pump and the RD28E index was installed on a taxi until 2009.

Nissan’s 3.0-litre VR30DDTT engine (or VR30 for short) was first introduced in 2015 as the main powertrain for luxury brand Infiniti’s latest line of mid-size models. This twin-turbocharged petrol engine is available in 300 or 400 hp versions.

The Nissan VQ25HR 2.5-liter V6 engine has been produced at the Japanese plant in Iwaki since 2006 and is installed on the base versions of some models of the company on the Front Midship platform. Now such a power unit is installed only on the Fuga sedan for the local automotive market.

The 2.5-liter Nissan VQ25DD engine was assembled from 1998 to 2007 at an enterprise in Japan and was installed on such popular concern models as Cefiro, Cedric, Stagea or Skyline. This engine is very demanding on fuel quality due to the NEO-Di direct injection system.
