Kia Sportage

The Kia Sportage is a compact crossover SUV from the South Korean automaker Kia Motors Corporation. Start of production – 1992. At the moment, the third and fourth generation of the Sportage are being released. Cars of the 1st and 2nd generation were also assembled at the Russian Avtokor in Kaliningrad. The 4th generation model is manufactured at factories in Korea, Kazakhstan, Slovakia and Indonesia with a 5-door and 5-seater body type.

Engine Hyundai G4FS

The 1.5-liter Hyundai G4FS or Smartstream G 1.5 T-GDI engine has been produced since 2019 and is installed on Chinese versions of such popular models as Sonata, Tucson and Sportage. This power unit is also found on concern cars for a number of other Asian countries.

Engine Kia FED

The 2.0-liter 16-valve Kia FED or FE-DOHC engine was produced from 1993 to 2006 and was installed on such popular models as Clarus, Sportage and the American version of the Spectra. This power unit is inherently a variation of the well-known Mazda FE-DE engine.

Engine Kia FEE

The 2.0-liter 8-valve Kia FEE or FE-SOHC engine was produced from 1994 to 2003 and was massively installed only on the Sportage crossover, but is also sometimes found on the Clarus model. This power unit is essentially one of the varieties of the popular Mazda FE engine.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4GC

The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4GC engine was assembled at the plant in Ulsan from 2000 to 2011 and was installed on such popular models of the company as the Sonata, Tucson, Kia Seed, Cerato and Soul. This unit belongs to the updated Beta II line and has an analogue for L4GC gas fuel.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G6BA

The 2.7-liter V6 Hyundai G6BA engine was assembled at an enterprise in Korea from 1999 to 2012 and was installed on top versions of such popular models as Sonata, Magentis, Santa Fe, Tucson. There was a gas modification of this power unit under its own index L6BA.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4FD

Hyundai’s 1.6-liter G4FD or 1.6 GDI engine was first introduced back in 2009 and is installed in a number of popular Hyundai models such as the Tucson, Veloster and Soul. This motor belongs to the Gamma II line and is distinguished by a direct fuel injection system.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4FJ

The Hyundai G4FJ 1.6-liter turbo engine or 1.6 T-GDI has been produced in Korea since 2011 and is installed on such popular models as Sportage, Tucson, Ceed, Seltos, Kona, Veloster and Soul. This power unit is distinguished by the presence of a direct fuel injection system and turbocharging.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4NA

The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4NA engine was first introduced by the company in 2010 and is installed on almost all significant models of the concern, such as Elantra, Optima and Sonata. There is a gas version of this engine without petrol injectors under its L4NA index.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4NC

The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4NC engine debuted on the Hyundai i40 2.0 GDi in 2011 and has been widely adopted in the European and American automotive markets. This power unit is distinguished by the presence of a proprietary direct fuel injection system.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4ND

Hyundai’s 2.0-liter G4ND engine added to the Nu powertrain family in 2011 and gained ground with the third and fourth generation Optima. The highlight of the motor is the CVVL valve lift system.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4NL

The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4NL or Smartstream G 2.0 MPi engine has been built only since 2019 and is installed on the latest versions of such popular models as Tucson, Sportage and Elantra. Due to the shortage of G4NA engines, this power unit was installed on the Creta 2 for some time.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4KD

The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4KD engine was produced in the USA and South Korea from 2008 to 2014 and was installed on many of the company’s popular models until it gave way to the similar G4NA. Now this motor is assembled at the Hyundai Wia plant in Shandong province for the local market.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4KH

The Hyundai-Kia G4KH 2.0-liter turbo engine or 2.0 Turbo GDi has been produced since 2010 and is installed on charged versions of such models as Sonata, Optima, Sorento and Sportage. There is a version of this unit for a longitudinal arrangement with its index G4KL.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4KE

The 2.4-liter Hyundai G4KE engine was produced in South Korea and the United States from 2008 to 2019 and was installed on many of the company’s large models, such as the Sonata, Sorento and Santa Fe. This powertrain is still assembled at Hyundai’s Chinese plant for the local market.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4KJ

The 2.4-liter Hyundai-Kia G4KJ or 2.4 GDi petrol engine has been produced since 2009 and is installed on such popular models as Optima, Sonata, Santa Fe, Sorento and Sportage. This unit is distinguished by the presence of a GDi direct injection system and a block of balancing shafts.

Engine Hyundai-Kia G4KN

The 2.5-liter Hyundai G4KN SmartStream 2.5 GDI engine has been assembled by the concern since 2019 and is installed on the Kia K5 and on the Hyundai Sonata and Grandeur models. This engine is equipped with two rows of nozzles for direct and distributed fuel injection.

Engine Hyundai-Kia D4EA

The 2.0-liter diesel engine Hyundai D4EA or Santa Fe Classic 2.0 CRDi was produced from 2001 to 2012 and was installed on almost all mid-size models of the manufacturer of that time. This motor was developed by VM Motori and is known as the Z20S on GM Korea models.

Engine Hyundai-Kia D4HA

The 2.0-liter Hyundai D4HA 2.0 CRDi diesel engine has been produced in Korea since 2009 and is installed on many popular crossovers such as Sportage, Tucson or Santa Fe. There are two different power modifications of this power unit for 136 or 185 hp.

Engine Hyundai-Kia D4HD

The 2.0-liter Hyundai D4HD or Smartstream D 2.0 TCi engine has been produced since 2020 and is installed on the popular Tucson crossovers in the NX4 body, as well as the Sportage in the NQ5 body. This is a new generation of concern diesel units with an aluminum block and a timing belt.

Engine Hyundai-Kia D4FE

The 1.6-liter Hyundai D4FE or Smartstream D 1.6 CRDi engine has been produced since 2017 and is installed on such popular concern models as the i30, i40, Ceed, Sportage or Tucson. This diesel engine exists in two different power versions: 116 hp / 280 Nm and 136 hp / 320 Nm.

Engine Hyundai-Kia D4FD

The 1.7-liter diesel engine Hyundai D4FD or 1.7 CRDi was produced from 2010 to 2019 and was installed on such popular concern models as ix35, i40, Optima, Tucson and Sportage. There are two modifications of such a unit: for environmentally friendly Euro 5 standards and updated for Euro 6..

Engine Mazda FE 2.0l

The Mazda FE 2.0-liter gasoline engine was assembled at a plant in Japan from 1981 to 2001 in many versions: with 8/12 valve head, carburetor, injector, turbocharging. This unit was installed on the 626 model in the back of GC and GD, and also on the Kia Sportage under the FEE index.

Engine Mazda FE-DE

The 2.0-liter 16-valve Mazda FE-DE or FE-DOHC engine was assembled from 1987 to 2004 and installed on various versions of the 626 in the GD body and on the Kia Sportage crossover under the FED index. Modifications of this motor in other markets are also known as FE3 or FE-ZE.

Engine Mazda RF 2.0l

The Mazda RF 2.0-liter pre-chamber diesel engine was produced from 1983 to 2003 in a huge number of modifications: both atmospheric RF-N and turbocharged RF-T. There was also an updated version of the RF1G for the 323 models and a compressor RF-CX for the 626.
