Disadvantages of the Hyundai G4KN engine
- This motor began to be installed only recently and there are no statistics on its malfunctions yet;
- The presence of a second row of nozzles should eliminate the problem of valve coking;
- The catalyst is close to the block and its crumbs can get into the combustion chamber;
- The resource of the electronic thermostat and adjustable oil pump is still unknown;
- The engine is equipped with hydraulic compensators, which are picky about the quality of the lubricant.
