Ford Galaxy

Ford Galaxy is a minivan class car of the Ford line. Began to be manufactured in 1995. The car has a large capacity and is designed to carry 7 people, has a front-wheel drive. Since 2015, the production of the 3rd generation of the model has been launched. The 1st generation cars were a joint project with Volkswagen and were assembled in Portugal. After 2000, the car was significantly modernized, the Volkswagen platform was no longer used as a base, and production in Portugal was closed.

Engine Volkswagen AUY

The 1.9-liter Volkswagen AUY 1.9 TDI engine was produced by the concern from 2000 to 2006 and was installed on the popular Sharan minivan and its clones: Ford Galaxy and Seat Alhambra. In 2006, this diesel unit gave way to a similar BVK engine under EURO 4.

Engine Volkswagen ASZ

The company assembled a 1.9-liter VW ASZ or 1.9 TDI diesel engine from 2000 to 2005 and put it on models based on the Golf 4, such as Bora, Octavia, Leon, Toledo or Audi A3. The same motor under the BLT index was installed on the Polo 4 and its counterparts Ibiza, Cordoba and Fabia.

Engine Ford 2.2 TDCi

The 2.2-liter Ford 2.2 TDCi diesel engines were produced by the company from 2006 to 2018 and were installed on a number of popular models under the Ford, Land Rover and Jaguar brands. In fact, these power units are clones of the Peugeot DW12MTED4 and DW12CTED4 engines.

Engine Ford 1.6 TDCi

The 1.6-liter Ford 1.6 TDCi diesel engines were produced by the concern from 2004 to 2017 in two different generations: the first with a 16-valve cylinder head and the second with an 8-valve cylinder head. These diesels are known as Peugeot 1.6 HDi, Mazda 1.6 CiTD, Volvo D4162T and D4164T in other cars.

Engine Ford KNWA

The 2.2-liter Ford KNWA engine or 2.2 TDCi Duratorq DW was produced from 2010 to 2015 and was installed only on charged versions of the popular Galaxy and S-MAX minivans. This unit is actually just one of the options for the French diesel DW12CTED4.

Engine Ford QXWA/QXWB

The 2.0-liter Ford QXWA, QXWB or 2.0 Duratorq DW engine was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed only on the second generation of the popular Galaxy minivan and S-MAX. This unit is essentially a modification of the French diesel engine DW10BTED4.

Engine Ford QYWA

The 1.8-liter Ford QYWA or 1.8 Duratorq DLD-418 engine was produced from 2006 to 2012 and was installed on the popular Galaxy and S-Max minivans. This engine is an Endura diesel engine equipped with a Common Rail system.

Engine Ford E5SA

The 2.3-liter 16-valve Ford E5SA or 2.3 I4 DOHC engine was assembled from 2000 to 2006 and installed only on the first generation of the Galaxy minivan, but already in the restyled version. Before the update, this motor was called Y5B and was a variation of the well-known Y5A unit.

Engine Ford ZVSA

The 2.0-liter 8-valve Ford ZVSA or 2.0 I4 DOHC engine was assembled from 2000 to 2006 and installed on a restyled version of the first generation of the popular Galaxy minivan. Prior to the modernization of the model in 2000, this power unit was known under the NSE index.

Engine Ford SEWA

The 2.3-liter Ford SEWA or 2.3 Duratec HE engine was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed on two very popular Galaxy and S-MAX minivans in the automotive market. This power unit is essentially a clone of the famous Japanese Mazda MZR L3-VE engine.

Engine Ford AOWA

2.0 liter Ford AOWA engine or 2.0 Duratec HE 145 hp was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed on the second generation of the popular Galaxy minivan and the similar S-MAX. This power unit essentially did not differ from the well-known Mazda LF-DE engine.
