Ford S-Max

The Ford S-Max is a minivan class car from the automaker Ford. Start of production – 2006. In 2015, the mass production of the second generation car began. The first generation of the model is built on the Ford Galaxy platform, and the second – 5th generation Ford Mondeo. S-Max, in addition to Belgian production, has assembly plants in China. Since 2012, it has been assembled in the Russian city of Yelabuga (Tatarstan). In 2008 it was on the 1st place in the sale of minivans in Europe.

Engine Ford 2.2 TDCi

The 2.2-liter Ford 2.2 TDCi diesel engines were produced by the company from 2006 to 2018 and were installed on a number of popular models under the Ford, Land Rover and Jaguar brands. In fact, these power units are clones of the Peugeot DW12MTED4 and DW12CTED4 engines.

Engine Ford KNWA

The 2.2-liter Ford KNWA engine or 2.2 TDCi Duratorq DW was produced from 2010 to 2015 and was installed only on charged versions of the popular Galaxy and S-MAX minivans. This unit is actually just one of the options for the French diesel DW12CTED4.

Engine Ford QXWA/QXWB

The 2.0-liter Ford QXWA, QXWB or 2.0 Duratorq DW engine was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed only on the second generation of the popular Galaxy minivan and S-MAX. This unit is essentially a modification of the French diesel engine DW10BTED4.

Engine Ford QYWA

The 1.8-liter Ford QYWA or 1.8 Duratorq DLD-418 engine was produced from 2006 to 2012 and was installed on the popular Galaxy and S-Max minivans. This engine is an Endura diesel engine equipped with a Common Rail system.

Engine Ford TPWA

The 2.0-liter Ford TPWA turbo engine or 2.0 EcoBoost 240 was produced from 2010 to 2015 and was installed only on charged versions of the restyled first generation S-MAX minivan. A similar motor with the TPBA index was installed on the fourth generation of the Mondeo model.

Engine Ford HUWA

The 2.5-liter Ford HUWA turbo engine was produced at the Swedish plant from 2006 to 2010 and was installed in the first generation of the popular S-MAX minivan, but only before restyling. Such a power unit is essentially just a modification of the Volvo engine with the B5254T3 index.

Engine Ford SEWA

The 2.3-liter Ford SEWA or 2.3 Duratec HE engine was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed on two very popular Galaxy and S-MAX minivans in the automotive market. This power unit is essentially a clone of the famous Japanese Mazda MZR L3-VE engine.

Engine Ford AOWA

2.0 liter Ford AOWA engine or 2.0 Duratec HE 145 hp was produced from 2006 to 2015 and was installed on the second generation of the popular Galaxy minivan and the similar S-MAX. This power unit essentially did not differ from the well-known Mazda LF-DE engine.
