The index of own motors consists of three characters:

  • The first character is the series name.
  • The second digit indicates the volume of the engine: 5 – 1.5 liters, 6 – 1.6 liters, 8 – 1.8 liters.
  • The third letter indicates the type of engine, for example D is a DOHC block head.

  • The first letter indicates the type of fuel: G – gasoline, D – diesel, L – gas version.
  • The second digit is the number of engine cylinders: 3, 4, 6 and 8 respectively.
