Disadvantages of the Hyundai G4KL engine
- So far, most of the complaints on the specialized forums are related to the failure of the high pressure fuel pump.
- And if your engine oil level rises sharply, then this pump is usually to blame.
- Like any direct injection unit, it suffers from carbon deposits on the intake valves.
- There are no hydraulic lifters here and every 100,000 km the valve clearance needs to be adjusted.
