The 2.0-liter Hyundai G4KF or Genesis Coupe 2.0 Turbo engine was produced by the concern from 2008 to 2016 and was installed only on the coupe version of the first generation Genesis model. There were two modifications of this turbo engine that differed significantly in power.
Theta 2.0L family: G4KA, G4KD, G4KF, G4KH, G4KL.
The engine was installed on:
- Hyundai Genesis Coupe 1 (BK) in 2008 – 2016.

Disadvantages of the Hyundai G4KF engine
- The most famous problem of this unit is the rotation of the crankshaft liners.
- Also, in the first modifications of engines, pistons often burst or rods broke off.
- The timing chain and phase regulators serve quite a bit, sometimes even less than 100 thousand km.
- After 100,000 km, due to the ellipse of the cylinders, oil consumption appears and progresses.
- And most importantly, it is difficult to find a stock engine, almost all of them are tuned.
