Disadvantages of the HR10DDT engine

  • This turbo engine has appeared recently and information on weak points has not yet been collected;
  • On the forums, they mostly praise him and complain only about the glitches of the start-stop system;
  • As with all direct injection engines, the intake valves quickly overgrow with soot;
  • For engines of this series, the timing chain usually does not serve much, let’s see how it will be here;
  • Hydraulic compensators are provided here, valve clearance adjustment is not required.
