The Dodge Avenger is a two-generation midsize car at the North American Diamond Star Motors plant. The years of production are from 1994 to 2014. Initially, the car was presented as a two-door coupe and was produced in this form until 2000. Later, starting in 2007, a 4-door sports sedan was released. And in 2014 the company completed production of the model in connection with the merger of the Dodge Avenger and Chrysler Sebring in Chrysler 200.

The 2.4-liter Dodge ED3 engine has been assembled at the factories of the American company since 2006 and is installed on many popular concern models, such as the Avenger, Caliber, Sebring and Journey. There is a particularly environmentally friendly PZEV version of this power unit under the EDG index.
