Dodge Caliber

Dodge Caliber is a hatchback manufactured from 2006 to 2011 by the car company Chrysler. Thanks to its crossover design, the Caliber sold particularly well in the US, Russia, Australia and Asia. In 2009, the interior of the Dodge Caliber has undergone changes. In addition, the model has lost its all-wheel drive modification. Externally, the Caliber borrowed a lot from the Dodge Magnum, and the interior from Nissan.

Engine Jeep ENE

The 2.2-liter R4 diesel engine Jeep ENE or 2.2 CRD was produced from 2010 to 2015 and was installed on European versions of such well-known models as Caliber, Patriot and Compass. This diesel engine from Daimler AG on a car from Mercedes is known under the index OM 651 DE 22 LA.

Engine Dodge ECE

The 2.0-liter Dodge ECE or 2.0 CRD diesel engine was produced from 2006 to 2011 and was installed on European versions of such popular models as Compass, Caliber or Journey. This motor was one of the variants of the Volkswagen 2.0 TDI diesel, which is known as BWD.

Engine Chrysler ECD

The 2.0-liter Chrysler ECD or 2.0 CRD diesel engine was produced from 2006 to 2011 and was installed on European versions of a number of popular models such as Avenger, Caliber, Sebring. This diesel engine is essentially a Volkswagen 2.0 TDI engine, which is known under the BYL index.

Engine Dodge EBA

The 1.8-liter 16-valve Dodge EBA engine was produced by the company from 2006 to 2009 and was installed only on basic modifications of the popular Caliber model before its restyling. The motor was developed jointly with Hyundai and Mitsubishi as part of the World Gasoline Engine Alliance.

Engine Dodge ECN

The Dodge ECN 2.0-liter gasoline engine was produced by the company from 2006 to 2016 and was installed on such popular models as Avenger, Caliber, as well as Jeep Compass and Patriot. This motor was created jointly with Hyundai and Mitsubishi as part of the World Gasoline Engine Alliance.

Engine Dodge ED4

The 2.4-liter Dodge ED4 turbo engine was produced at the company’s factories from 2007 to 2009 and was installed only on a charged version of the Caliber SRT4 model for the US and European markets. This unit is not very widespread and is a real exclusive.

Engine Dodge ED3

The 2.4-liter Dodge ED3 engine has been assembled at the factories of the American company since 2006 and is installed on many popular concern models, such as the Avenger, Caliber, Sebring and Journey. There is a particularly environmentally friendly PZEV version of this power unit under the EDG index.
