Disadvantages of the VW CJMA engine
- This engine is considered quite reliable and rarely worries its owners;
- Most of the problems of the motor are associated with the vagaries of the CR system with piezo injectors;
- In second place in terms of the number of complaints are leaks of lubricant or antifreeze;
- Closer to 250,000 km, the diesel particulate filter and the EGR valve are often completely clogged;
- Around the same run, they can already stretch out and require replacement of the timing chain.
