Disadvantages of the VW DJKA engine
- This turbo engine appeared recently and there are no detailed statistics of its breakdowns;
- So far, the main complaints are related to various noises and rattling under the hood;
- According to the regulations, the timing belt changes every 120,000 km, and when it breaks, the valves bend;
- A water pump with two thermostats has a modest resource, but it is not cheap;
- A common problem of the EA211 series with the wedge of the thrust of the turbine actuator has not yet been encountered.
