Volvo C30

The Volvo C30 is a Swedish hatchback compact car. Produced by Volvo between 2006 and 2013 at the Belgian plant in Ghent. In the production of the model, the Ford C1 platform was used. The car has a front-wheel drive configuration and various petrol and diesel configurations. Each production year, about 70 thousand cars were produced. More than half of them were supplied to the European market, the rest to the countries of North America.

Engine Volvo B5244S4

The 2.4-liter Volvo B5244S4 gasoline engine was produced in Skövde from 2004 to 2010 and was installed on such popular models of the Swedish concern as C30, C70, S40 or V50. There was a slightly less powerful version of this power unit with its index B5244S5.

Engine Volvo B5254T3

The 2.5-liter turbo Volvo B5254T3 engine was assembled at the Sjovde plant from 2004 to 2008 and installed in the most compact models of the Swedish company, such as the C30, S40 or V50. On Ford cars, such a power unit was known under the indices HUBA, HUWA and HYDA.

Engine Volvo B4164S3

The 1.6-liter Volvo B4164S3 engine was assembled at Ford factories from 2005 to 2011 and installed on a number of models created on the Focus 2 platform, that is, C30, S40 or V50. In 2007, the motor switched to an open cooling jacket, was a clone of HWDA, and became SHDA.

Engine Volvo B4184S11

The 1.8-liter Volvo B4184S11 gasoline engine was produced by the company from 2004 to 2009 and was installed on the concern’s models created on the Focus 2 platform, that is, it is C30, S40 or V50. Such a motor and its FlexiFuel version B4184S8 are essentially clones of the QQDB power unit.

Engine Volvo B4204S3

The 2.0-liter 16-valve Volvo B4204S3 engine was produced by the concern from 2006 to 2012 and was installed on models on the Focus 2 platform, that is, the C30, S40 and V50, as well as the S80 sedan. Such a motor and its FlexiFuel version B4204S4 were essentially clones of the AODA power unit.

Engine Volvo D5204T

The Volvo D5204T 2.0-liter R5 diesel engine was produced by the company from 2009 to 2013 and installed on its compact models such as the C30, C70, S40 and V50 in D4 modifications. There were similar, but less powerful versions of this diesel with indexes T2, T3, T5 and T7.

Engine Volvo D4162T

The 1.6-liter 8-valve Volvo D4162T or 1.6 D2 engine was produced from 2010 to 2016 and was installed on such popular models of the Swedish concern as S40, S60, S80, V40, V50 and V70. This power unit was, in fact, one of the modifications of the Peugeot DV6C diesel engine.

Engine Volvo D4164T

The 1.6-liter 16-valve Volvo D4164T or 1.6 D engine was produced from 2005 to 2010 and was installed on such popular models of the Swedish company as C30, S40, S80, V50 and V70. Such a power unit is one of the varieties of the Peugeot DV6TED4 diesel engine.
