Toyota Innova is a compact minivan from the Japanese car manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation. Manufactured since 2004. The second generation of the model has been produced from 2015 to the present day. The country of the initial release of the car was Indonesia, in which it is officially called the Toyota Kijang Innova. The machine was and is being manufactured today also in India, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. The name of the car Innova means “innovation”.
The 2.0-liter Toyota 1TR-FE engine has been assembled since 2004 at factories in Japan and Indonesia for pickups and minibuses. At first, the motor was equipped with a phase regulator only at the inlet, and since 2015 there has already been Dual VVT-i. There is a gas version of this unit with the index 1TR-FPE.
The 2.7-liter Toyota 2TR-FE engine has been assembled since 2004 at factories in Japan and Indonesia for large pickups and SUVs. This motor was originally equipped with a VVT-i phase regulator at the intake, and in 2015 a newer Dual VVT-i system appeared already on two shafts.
The 2.4-liter Toyota 2GD-FTV engine has been assembled since 2015 at the company’s Japanese plant and is installed on large pickup trucks, SUVs and minibuses. Like all modern diesel engines, it is literally obsessed with ecology and in the EURO 6 version it is equipped with EGR, DOC, DPF and SCR systems.
The 2.8-liter Toyota 1GD-FTV engine has been produced since 2015 at the concern’s Japanese plant and is installed on many large pickup trucks, SUVs and minibuses. This diesel engine is literally obsessed with ecology: its EURO 6 version is equipped with EGR, DOC, DPF and SCR systems.
The 2.5-liter Toyota 2KD-FTV engine has been produced since 2001 at the company’s Japanese plant and is used in large Hilux pickups, Fortuner and 4Runner SUVs, and Innova minivans. For basic modifications of minibuses and pickups, there is an atmospheric version of 102 hp.
