Honda Inspire

The Honda Inspire is a Japanese business sedan car manufactured by Honda Motor Co., Ltd from 1989 to 2012. The model is based on Honda Accord. Therefore, cars produced before 1993 were called the Honda Accord Inspire. Since 2007, the 5th generation of the model has been produced. The car was assembled in Japan and the USA. Since 2014, the 5th generation model has continued to be produced in Malaysia under the name Proton Perdana.

Engine Honda J32A

The Honda J32A 3.2-liter V6 gasoline engine was produced in the USA from 1998 to 2008 and was installed on the third generation Inspire and many models manufactured under the Acura brand. This power unit existed in three modifications, which differed in power.

Engine Honda J30A

Honda’s J30A 3.0-liter V6 engine was produced at the US plant from 1997 to 2007 and was installed in a number of popular models of the company, such as the Accord and the Odyssey minivan. After a slight modernization, this unit went to conquer the Chinese market as the J30Y1.

Engine Honda J25A

The 2.5-liter V6 Honda J25A engine was produced at the American plant from 1998 to 2003 and was installed only on the popular third-generation Inspire model or its counterpart Saber. This motor is considered the rarest in the extensive family of J-series V-shaped motors.

Engine Honda G25A

The 2.5-liter Honda G25A engine was produced at a Japanese company from 1989 to 1998 and was installed on such large models of the company as Inspire, Rafaga, Ascot, Vigor, Saber. A well-known legend says that this engine was created from the power unit of a Formula 1 car.

Engine Honda G20A

The 2.0-liter Honda G20A gasoline engine was produced in Japan from 1989 to 1998 and was installed on a number of large models of the concern, such as Ascot, Rafaga, Saber, Inspire and Vigor. This power unit, according to a generally accepted legend, was created on the basis of a Formula 1 car engine.

Engine Honda C32A

The 3.2-liter V6 Honda C32A engine was produced at the concern’s factories from 1990 to 1999 and was installed on the second generation of Legend models, Inspire and analogues under the Acura brand. In addition to standard engine modifications for 200 – 205 hp, there was a Type 2 version with 230 hp.
