Honda Avancier

The Honda Avancier is a Japanese mid-size station wagon from Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Manufactured from 1999 to 2003. The model is an intermediate version between Accord and second generation Odyssey. Due to a decrease in demand, the production of the car was discontinued in 2003. However, in 2016 the car received a second life already in the back of a 5-door crossover. The assembly shop is located in China. Avancier translates to “progressive/advanced”.

Engine Honda J30A

Honda’s J30A 3.0-liter V6 engine was produced at the US plant from 1997 to 2007 and was installed in a number of popular models of the company, such as the Accord and the Odyssey minivan. After a slight modernization, this unit went to conquer the Chinese market as the J30Y1.

Engine Honda F23A

The 2.3-liter Honda F23A gasoline engine was produced by the company from 1997 to 2003 and was installed on such popular models of the Japanese concern as the Accord or the Odyssey minivan. They offered two different modifications of the F23A motor: with and without the VTEC phase control system.
