The 1.5-liter Honda L15C turbo engine is a close relative of the L15B turbo and has been produced since 2016. It powers the Civic hatchback and Civic Si, the turbocharged HR-V, the Thai CR-V, the Chinese Integra and the Acura Integra.
Like the L15B, it has an aluminum block, direct injection, a single turbocharger and a chain-driven DOHC head. The first L15C for the Japanese Civic hatchback FK7 had variable timing on both camshafts (VTC); later versions additionally received VTEC valve lift on the exhaust side. Output ranges from 127 hp in the Chinese Civic 180 TURBO to 200 hp in the Civic Si and Acura Integra; the L15C2 for the Thai CR-V can run on E85.
L-series family: L13A, L13B, L15B, L15C, L15Z, L15A, L12B.

Disadvantages of the Honda L15C engine
- As on the L15B turbo, fuel can dilute the oil in cold climates and on short trips;
- Direct injection leads to carbon deposits on the intake valves;
- The turbocharger requires high-quality oil and timely changes.
