Honda Freed

The Honda Freed is a Japanese compact van from Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Manufactured since 2008, assembled in Indonesia and Japan. The base for the car is the Honda Jazz model. Since 2011, a hybrid modification of the car has been produced. There are three versions of the model – 5-, 7- and 8-seater. The car is exported mainly to the countries of Southeast Asia. Since 2016, the second generation of the Freed model has been produced in assembly workshops in Japan.

Engine Honda L15B

The 1.5-liter Honda L15B gasoline engine has been produced at factories in Japan since 2013 and is installed on a number of modern models of the concern, such as the Fit, City, Civic and Accord. The unit is offered in two versions: atmospheric with injector and turbo with direct injection.

Engine Honda L15A

The 1.5-liter Honda L15A engine has been produced at the company’s plant in Japan since 2001 and is installed on such popular compact models of the concern as the Jazz, Fried or City. Three modifications of the L15A unit are offered: 8-valve i-DSI and 16-valve VTEC and iVTEC.
