Honda CR-Z

The Honda CR-Z is a Japanese 2-door, 4-seat coupe hybrid sports car from Honda Motor Co., Ltd. Manufactured from 2009 to 2016. In addition to the Japanese domestic market, the CR-Z was sold in the USA and some European countries. The car became the first in the world among the hybrid modifications equipped with a manual transmission. In total, about 17 thousand cars were sold.

L15A initially did not differ much from L13A – the same layout, the same 8 spark plugs. Over time, an “upgrade” version with the iVTEC system appeared. The number of candles decreased to standard, but the candles themselves became iridium (improved spark, increased service life), and space for VTEC cams on the camshaft was also freed up – before that, the candles interfered.
