Disadvantages of the T24A-FTS engine
- Like all units with combined injection, it is demanding on fuel quality.
- There will probably be problems with leaks in the EGR cooler like other engines in the line.
What is the weight of the T24A-FTS engine?
Added to table, 160 kg.
You list a con as possible leaks in the EGR cooler. My understanding, per the youtube video by the car care nut, is that this engine does not have an EGR system. It would certainly be of interest to know which it is, as I just purchased a Grand Highlander with this engine.
