The 3.5-liter Nissan VR35DDTT twin-turbo V6 was introduced in 2024 for the new Infiniti QX80 and the related Nissan Patrol and Armada. It replaces the 5.6-liter VK56 V8 in Nissan’s largest SUVs.
The engine is an enlarged version of the 3.0-liter VR30DDTT: an aluminum block with a bore of 86 mm, two overhead camshafts per bank driven by a chain, direct injection and two turbochargers. In the QX80 it produces 450 hp and 700 Nm.
VR family: VR30DDTT, VR35DDTT, VR38DETT.
