Nissan Armada, 1st generation, 2003–2015
The large SUV Nissan Armada began to be produced at a plant in the United States in 2003. The car was sold in the markets of the USA, Canada, Mexico, as well as some countries in the Middle East. The model has never been officially delivered to Russia.
“Armada” was created on the F-Alpha platform, common with the first generation Titan pickup truck. The 5.3-meter-long car had three rows of seats and seven or eight seats (depending on version). A luxury version of the SUV with a different design was sold under the name Infiniti QX56.
A 5.6-liter V8 gasoline engine with a capacity of 309 hp was installed on the car (later its output was increased to 321 hp) and a five-speed automatic transmission. The Nissan Armada was produced with both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.
Nissan Armada, 2nd generation, 2016
The current generation of the Nissan Armada model has been produced since 2016.
5.6-liter V8 Nissan VK56DE engine was produced in US factories from 2003 to 2015 and was installed in the largest and most powerful models, such as Armada, Titan, and Infiniti QX56. In 2007, this unit was seriously upgraded and therefore two generations of it are distinguished.
