The 3.6-liter Mitsubishi 4D32 diesel was installed on the Fuso Canter from about 1986 to 1993.
It is a naturally aspirated OHV four with direct injection and an in-line injection pump. The bore was increased to 104 mm with the same 105 mm stroke, which gave 3567 cc and about 110 hp.
The 4D3 series also includes: 4D30, 4D31, 4D33, 4D34, 4D35 and 4D36.
