Disadvantages of the Mercedes M264 engine
- There are already cases of piston damage due to detonation caused by low-octane gasoline.
- Even on specialized forums, a couple of cases of very expensive repair of the Camtronic system are described.
- Through the fault of direct injection, carbon deposits form on the intake valves and engine speed fluctuates.
- There are also several complaints about BSG 48V glitches, it is discharged and does not want to be charged.
