Disadvantages of the Hyundai G6DT engine
- On specialized forums, the engine is praised for decent traction and moderate fuel consumption.
- Like all aluminum V6, this engine is afraid of overheating, keep an eye on cooling.
- Complaints about the oil burner have not yet been found, but in general the engines of this family are prone to it.
- There are hydraulic lifters in the cylinder head and valve clearance adjustment is not required.
