Chevrolet Lanos is a lightweight front-wheel drive subcompact car in the sedan body of the South Korean Daewoo line. Manufactured in 2005. Until 2009, more than 170 thousand cars were manufactured from the assembly shop of the Ukrainian plant “ZAZ” for the Russian consumer. After 2009 and until 2013, the model was supplied under the Chance brand in sedan and hatchback body modifications. The 1.5-liter Chevrolet F15S3 engine was assembled at the concern’s enterprises from 2002 to 2011 and installed on such popular models of the Korean division of GM as Aveo and Lanos. This unit is essentially a Daewoo A15SMS engine under the hood of Chevrolet cars.
The F14D4 engine was put into production in 2008. In fact, it was a modernized version of the F14D3 engine, which did not save him from having technical problems. Typical for the predecessor problems in the new engine were successfully eliminated.
