Disadvantages of the VW CZPB engine
- So far, it can be noted that the unit turned out to be successful and rarely worries the owner;
- There is a big debate on specialized forums about oil consumption, some have it;
- By about 150,000 km, the timing chain may stretch and require replacement;
- The weak points of the engine include a pump and a variable displacement oil pump.
