Disadvantages of the GM L3B engine

  • The engines of the first year of production came under recall, they changed the wiring harness.
  • This engine has only direct injection and suffers from carbon deposits on the intake valves.
  • Fuel injectors, as well as injection pumps, are very sensitive to the quality of gasoline here.
  • And there are also complaints about malfunctions in the system for deactivating some of the AFM cylinders.
