Disadvantages of the N43B16 engine

When operating the BMW N43B16 engine, there are problems with floating rpm and vibration.

If the injectors need to be replaced, vibration occurs in the motor. It is necessary to check the condition of the injectors and replace them in a timely manner. If the engine vibrates and floating speed is noticeable, the problem may be in the failed ignition coils. They should be checked and replaced.

After about 80 thousand kilometers, the vacuum pump becomes unusable, the part needs to be replaced. It is also recommended to regularly check the condition of the cooling system to prevent overheating of the power unit.

Owners of a car with a BMW N43B16 engine should take into account that the unit works well on high-quality working fluids. If you save on oil, you can face the problem of engine overhaul. Better to use the oil recommended by BMW. If the motor is provided with timely maintenance with the replacement of worn parts, it will serve a long time without problems.
