The 1.8-liter Audi CDHA 1.8 TFSI turbo engine was produced by the concern from 2009 to 2015 and was installed on the basic modifications of the A4 model in the B8 body, as well as Seat Exeo sedans. From 2008 to 2009, the first generation EA888 engine under the CABA index was installed on the Audi A4 B8.
The EA888 gen2 series includes: CDAA, CDAB, CDHA, CDHB, CCZA, CCZB, CCZC, CCZD, CDNB, CDNC, CAEA, CAEB.

Disadvantages of the Audi CDHA engine
- The most famous problem of this turbo engine is high oil consumption;
- The manufacturer has released several piston options and replacement often helps;
- Due to the oil burner, the valves quickly become overgrown with soot and the engine begins to fever;
- The timing chain is a modest resource here, sometimes it stretches to 150,000 km;
- The weak points of the unit also include ignition coils, water pump, high pressure fuel pump.
