Toyota Cresta

Toyota Cresta is a Japanese business class car in a sedan body version from the manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation. Years of production – 1980-2001. The model is built on the same basis as Toyota ChaserMark II. The car was released in 5 generations of both front- and rear-wheel drive configurations. The name of the car in translation from Spanish means “mountain peak”. The successor to the model was another mid-size sedan – Toyota Verossa.

Toyota’s 3.0-liter 2JZ-GE engine was assembled at the Tahara Plant in Japan from 1991 to 2007 and fitted to the company’s popular rear wheel drive models such as the Aristo, Crown and Mark II. There are two modifications of this motor: a 1991 stock model and a 1997 version with VVT-i.
