Toyota AE86 is a Japanese compact car in the back of a coupe and hatchback from the manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation. The AE86 series is the 1st generation of the Toyota Sprinter Trueno or Toyota Corolla Levin, produced from 1983 to 1987. The car has a rear-wheel drive layout. Trueno means thunder in Spanish, Levin means lightning in English. Another name for the model is Hachi-Roku, which means “eight – six”. In the North American market, the car was sold under the name Corolla GT-S.
