The D12C380 engine is a water-cooled, 6-cylinder in-line diesel engine that has been in production since 1998. The engine power index is an impressive 31 hp. for 1 liter (1000 cc) volume.
The D12C380 has six cylinders in one row. This contributes to the ease of repair and service work. The cylinder block and cylinder head are made of ductile iron and the cylinder liners are easy to replace. Spin-on technology provides double filtration of engine oil, the air filter is equipped with replaceable inserts.
