Disadvantages of the X20DTH engine
- Most of the problems for the car owner are caused by malfunctions of the Bosch VP44 high-pressure fuel pump;
- The most common fuel pump failure is the burnout of its control transistor;
- If the fuel filter is incorrectly replaced, the system will simply air out here;
- Oil can be mixed with diesel fuel due to the drying of the gaskets under the nozzles;
- Also here, the EGR valve regularly wedges from soot or the particulate filter is clogged.
