Disadvantages of the Hyundai G6AU engine
- The main problems of the engine are related to the quality of the assembly and its components;
- On specialized forums, many cases of liners turning on a run of 50,000 km are described;
- By 100,000 km, an oil burn of 1 liter per thousand km or more usually appears;
- Hydraulic lifters and belt tensioner are not very large resource;
- And here the engine speed often floats due to contamination of the throttle, idle speed controller or injectors.
