The DAF WS 242 engine has proven itself at its best thanks to its reliability, power, quality and fuel economy. This V-shaped engine has 6 cylinders, 12 valves and a displacement of 11.6 liters.
The first batch of DAF WS motors rolled off the assembly line about 30 years ago. After a number of changes, the power of these units was increased to 294 kW. DAF WS series motors are used to equip various types of specialized equipment: commercial vehicles, agricultural equipment, etc. The engines have a high power level and are additionally equipped with a turbocharger.
